Hence, Delhi Capitals was able to pay his salary under the scheme of player insurance.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Player_Insurance_Scheme\"><\/span><b>What is Player Insurance Scheme?<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As per the Insurance Scheme, if a cricketer gets injured during a match played for the country and consequently misses the tournament (completely or partially), then the insurance scheme will indemnify the cricketer.
